VNG is in the Top 100 Private Enterprises Contributing the Largest Budget in Vietnam in 2024

According to the PRIVATE 100 ranking - List of private enterprises contributing the most to the state budget in Vietnam, just announced by CafeF on August 15, VNG ranked 28/100 enterprises, contributing 1,132.5 billion VND to the state budget.
Here is the ranking Built by CafeF, to honor and recognize the contributions of private enterprises in many fields, spreading the spirit of serving society. VNG is one of two enterprises in the technology sector that has contributed over 1,000 billion VND to the state budget.

Established in 2004, VNG currently operates in four main areas: Online Games, Zalo & AI, Electronic Payments and Digital Transformation. The company owns a diverse ecosystem of products and services, serving tens of millions of users worldwide. In 2023, the Company's net revenue will reach VND 7,593 billion.

In terms of human resources, VNG currently has a total of nearly 4,000 domestic and foreign employees. VNG is on the list of Best Workplaces 2023 for the second time announced by the global agency on workplace culture Great Place to Work. In addition, VNG was also honored in the category of Vietnamese Enterprises with the Most Innovative Social Activities 2023 (announced by Global Business Review) and "Inspirational Brand Award" voted by APEA for its sustainable initiatives and contributions to the community.

At the 2024 General Meeting of Shareholders, VNG identified artificial intelligence (AI) as a development focus that can create new growth momentum for the company in the coming years, while aiming to become a global technology company originating from Vietnam. According to Mr. Le Hong Minh, Founder and General Director of VNG, the three strategic spearheads that will create new growth momentum for the company in the coming years will be: AI, Global and Platforms.

PRIVATE 100 was first published on August 15, 2024 and is based on actual data submitted during the fiscal year (12 months) ending at times between June 30, 2023 and March 31, 2024.
