VPBank gives customers 5,000 Westlife concert tickets

VPBank - sponsor of "The Wild Dreams Tour" - gives away 5,000 Westlife concert tickets on November 21 to customers.

A bank representative said: "Westlife is the youth of the 8X and 9X generations. We decided to sponsor the event to help Vietnamese fans approach their idols, directly enjoy a series of immortal songs and contribute to making Vietnam a potential international concert venue. This is also in line with the mission 'For a prosperous Vietnam' that we are pursuing."

On this occasion, the unit booked 5,000 tickets, equivalent to 1/3 of the seats for the November 21 show. "Becoming a customer and using VPBank's service, you will receive free tickets without having to queue," the announcement on the bank's Fanpage said.

Specifically, the first 200 cases own tickets when maintaining an average account balance of 50 million VND or more and generating credit card (debit card) spending transactions of 100,000 VND or more. From now until November 12, new priority customers classified as Diamond and Diamond Elite also have the opportunity to receive tickets.

In addition, VPBank also gives away tickets to the first 1,000 people with a total minimum spending of VND 5 million via online payment gateway or POS; the largest transaction value or credit card payment via POS from VND 3 million at Vincom shopping mall and many other mechanisms.

After 12 years, Westlife returned to Vietnam to perform on November 21-22 at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC). The Wild Dreams Tour not only attracted Vietnamese audiences but also on a global scale. In response to the love of fans, the group continuously added more shows in each city they passed through.

This time, the group upgraded the scale of the concert, invested in sound and lighting. The ticket sales rate was quite impressive, with more than 15,000 tickets for the night of November 22 "sold out" in four hours. The additional night of November 21 also sold out the entire auditorium in one hour.

"The Wild Dreams" is the 14th tour in Westlife's career, with a total of 99 shows, lasting from 2000 to 2024, having to be postponed several times due to Covid-19 and some members having health problems. Westlife were one of the most popular boy bands in the world in the 1990s and 2000s, consisting of five members: Brian McFadden, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan. In 2004, Bryan McFadden left the group. They sold more than 50 million albums in 40 countries, of which about 12 million albums were sold in the UK, with 14 singles topping the charts in that country.
