On the evening of October 9, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Vu Ngoc Liem - principal of Ngoc Lac High School, chairman of the 10th grade entrance exam grading council, Le Hong Phong High School, Bim Son town (Thanh Hoa) - said that on October 9, the disciplinary council of Ngoc Lac High School organized a review of the responsibilities of members related to the case of mistakenly recording the exam scores of CTH candidates.
As a result, teacher Ngo Thi Tuyet, a teacher at Ngoc Lac High School, received a disciplinary measure of reprimand.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Liem - Principal of Ngoc Lac High School and teachers Ngo Thi Thanh, Vu Thi Thuy, Tran Thi Tu received self-criticism and learned from experience.
On October 9, the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also sent a report explaining the incident to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education and Training .
The explanatory report stated that this incident did not happen because of the teacher marking the test, but because the scoring team of the Ngoc Lac High School's exam marking board mistakenly scored the CTH candidate's score, and the responsibility lies with the chairman of the exam marking board.
Inspectors of the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training worked with candidate H.'s family, the examination board, and teachers directly involved and confirmed that there was no negativity in this incident.
After receiving the conclusion announcement from the Department Inspectorate, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training directed Le Hong Phong High School to have the admissions council re-examine candidates according to regulations.
Accordingly, candidate CTH did not have enough points to be admitted to Le Hong Phong High School.
From this incident, the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training seriously learned from experience in managing and directing exams more closely, enhancing the responsibility of staff, strictly implementing exam regulations and instructions, and avoiding unfortunate mistakes.
As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the Inspectorate of the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has just announced the results of the inspection and review of the exam scores of CTH candidates and the examination council of Le Hong Phong High School.
Test results, comparing the test scores of CTH candidates: math, score on the score sheet is 4.5; score on the test is 4.5; score on the transcript is 8.0.
Literature: score on the scorecard 6.5; score on the test 6.5; score on the transcript 8.5.
English: score on the scorecard 2.4; score on the test 2.4; score on the transcript 6.4.
The members who returned the scores at the examination council of Le Hong Phong High School included score reader Ngo Thi Tuyet, reading controller Vu Thi Thuy, score recorder Ngo Thi Trang, and recording controller Tran Thi Tu, all of whom are teachers at Ngoc Lac High School.
Working with the Inspector of the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, Mr. Vu Ngoc Liem and members of the recollection team took responsibility for the work process, due to work pressure and lack of concentration, causing the incorrect recording of the CTH candidate's score.
The members affirmed that the incorrect score of candidate H. was completely unintentional.
