Attending the ceremony were leaders of Long Son commune, including comrades: Nguyen Tan Cuong, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council; Mai Ngoc Oanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Nguyen Trong Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee.
At the ceremony, comrade Pham Thi My Linh, Head of the Party Building Committee, Long Son Commune Party Committee, announced the decisions to establish 19 Party organizations (including 9 village Party cells and 10 Party cells of agencies, departments and units) and appointed Party committees and secretaries of Party organizations under the Long Son Commune Party Committee, term I, 2025 - 2030.
In his speech assigning tasks, Comrade Nguyen Tan Cuong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Long Son commune, emphasized that in the new commune-level model, Party cells and Party members play a new role, as the fundamental foundation of the Party at the grassroots level, playing a key role in maintaining the Party's leadership role, developing the socio-economy, maintaining national defense and security and building a strong political system from the grassroots level. Therefore, the establishment of Party cells aims to meet the requirements of organizational structure, creating conditions to promote the Party's leadership role in each residential area, administrative unit, agency, and school in the commune.
Comrade Nguyen Tan Cuong requested that party organizations and party members join hands, be unanimous, and make efforts in their work, especially focusing on studying and applying AI software to successfully complete assigned tasks.
On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Long Son Commune Party Committee held a meeting to deploy the Plan to organize the Long Son Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress is scheduled to be held on August 14 and 15. At the same time, the Executive Committee of the Long Son Commune Party Committee also deployed the Plan to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science , technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
