Of the 13 items above, there are 5 items with estimated budgets, including: Symbolic stone (200 million VND); construction of traditional rooms (400 million VND); editing and printing of yearbooks (1,000 copies - 200 million VND); propaganda costs (270 million VND) and costs for organizing ceremonies and festivals (1.09 billion VND).

It is worth mentioning that in the organization plan, the school has set a "leveling" amount of tens of millions of dong for each class according to the school year.

Specifically, for classes graduating in 2013 and later, the minimum is 10 million VND/class; For classes graduating before 2013, the minimum is 15 million VND/class.

Some former students think that it is normal for schools to have letters of acceptance. However, it should not be set in a "leveling" manner because it is no different from being mandatory, while the conditions of former students are different.

According to plan, Nong Cong I High School is expected to celebrate its 60th anniversary on November 11 and 12, 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Van Giap, Principal of Nong Cong I High School, acknowledged the existence of the open letter and the above-mentioned appeal plan. According to Mr. Giap, this organization requires socialization and the joint efforts of generations of students, teachers, and benefactors to have the money to organize.

Previously, Le Van Huu High School (Thieu Hoa district) also called for contributions of more than 2.6 billion VND for the school's 60th anniversary celebration.

After receiving feedback, the Inspectorate of the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training concluded that the call for socialization is not prohibited. However, the total estimated cost is more than 2.6 billion VND, of which some items are not practical and still cause waste.
