Realizing that they had the same blood type, two staff members of the Luc Yen Regional Medical Center, Ms. Pham Thanh Hue and Mr. Dang Dinh Thao, volunteered to donate blood to the patient, helping the surgical team control the blood loss and save the mother in critical condition.
It is known that Ms. Pham Thanh Hue and Mr. Dang Dinh Thao are both members of the "Living Blood Bank" of Luc Yen Regional Medical Center. This is a program launched by Luc Yen Regional Medical Center since the beginning of July 2025. Up to now, the "Living Blood Bank" has 43 members, including 30 officers, doctors, nurses; 13 civil servants, public employees, workers and local people.
