The 2023 Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival organized by Thach Ha district ( Ha Tinh ) aims to continue to maintain, conserve and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage; honor and affirm the eternal value of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam.
On the morning of October 14, the People's Committee of Thach Ha district organized the opening ceremony of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk song festival in 2023.

This year's festival attracted over 500 artists and non-professional actors of different ages from 22 Nghe Tinh folk singing clubs in the district. The programs of the clubs were presented in many forms: solo singing, group singing, duet singing, skit singing, scene acting, singing and dancing, performance, reenactment of rural space, craft villages, and local and regional customs and practices...

This is a meaningful activity to continue to maintain, preserve and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage; honor and affirm the eternal value of Nghe Tinh's Vi and Giam. It is an opportunity for artisans, actors of the Club and people to exchange and learn, exchange experiences, and also an opportunity to introduce and promote the image of people, homeland and typical products of each region. At the same time, continue to promote the folk singing movement, spreading widely.
The clubs have recreated the folk cultural spaces and traditional craft villages of their homeland through each melody.
After the opening ceremony, the festival program began with very attractive performances from the Vi and Giam folk song clubs of the communes: Ngoc Son, Tan Lam Huong, Thach Ngoc, Thach Long, Thach Van, Thach Lien, Thach Khe.
The opening acts were performed successfully, gathering good voices, confident performance styles, clear lyrics, suitable contexts and conveying many meaningful messages about love for homeland, country, family affection, love between couples, strongly encouraging the emulation movement of labor, production, building new rural areas...
Many performances at the opening ceremony made a strong impression on the audience.
The festival is expected to close and award prizes on the morning of October 15, 2023.
