Established in 1975, the museum is a must-see destination for anyone interested in learning about Vietnamese history.
The museum has more than 20,000 artifacts, images and documentaries highlighting the most typical things of the Vietnamese people during the two wars.
TripAdvisor commented: "With fascinating exhibits and useful information, visitors will get the most realistic perspective on how war affects life."
Located about 60km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi tunnels, a symbol of the long resistance war of the Vietnamese army and people, ranked 14th out of 25 most popular tourist destinations in Asia.
The tunnels were built in the late 1940s and suffered heavy bombing raids in the 1960s.
TripAdvisor writes: "The Cu Chi Tunnels offer a visually stunning adventure that gives visitors a sense of historical significance and a deep understanding of local culture."
Meanwhile, Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is known as the most popular tourist attraction in Asia.
