Specifically, on the evening of November 9, at the Provincial Convention Center Square, the Department of Industry and Trade of Tra Vinh organized the opening ceremony of the Trade Promotion Fair, Rural Industrial Products and OCOP associated with the Ok Om Bok Festival of Tra Vinh province in 2024.

The Fair for Trade Promotion, Rural Industrial Products and OCOP is part of a series of events of the Culture and Tourism Week associated with the Ok Om Bok Festival of Tra Vinh province in 2024 taking place from November 9 to November 15, 2024.
Accordingly, the Fair attracted 300 booths of 165 enterprises from 9 provinces and cities to participate. The booths displayed, introduced and promoted product brands to consumers, especially rural industrial products and local OCOP products.

Within the framework of the Fair, there is also a Startup Market with 32 booths, to help startups have the opportunity to exchange, display, introduce, cooperate with organizations and investors, and seek opportunities and capital to bring products to market.
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, the Fair aims to create conditions for businesses to promote product brands, expand cooperation and exchanges, enhance trade, investment and tourism promotion with provinces and cities across the country; introduce and promote rural industrial products and local OCOP products to consumers.
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Quynh Thien, expressed: "The fair is an opportunity for enterprises and cooperatives of provinces and cities to exchange, learn and exchange experiences, promote brands, products and services, strengthen joint ventures, associations, develop production; expand distribution networks, consume products, build brands, cooperate in investment to contribute to market development, promote the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", promote product consumption and export in the coming time".
At the opening ceremony, representatives of the Organizing Committee also awarded many scholarships to excellent students with difficult circumstances and gave many valuable gifts to poor households in the province.
