414 people are eligible for debt forgiveness

According to the review of the Social Policy Bank, Quang Ninh branch, as of October 16, the whole province has 414 people eligible for debt settlement with a total amount of nearly 30 billion VND including principal and interest.

Leaders of Cam Pha City Social Policy Bank grasp the situation of damage of people borrowing capital.

Currently, the Social Policy Bank, Quang Ninh branch, is coordinating with relevant agencies to complete the dossier to submit to the Social Policy Bank and the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval, thereby helping people reduce financial burdens, feel secure in overcoming difficulties, and gradually re-produce.

Since September 8, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Quang Ninh branch, has restructured the debt repayment period for 12,560 people with outstanding debt of VND 104.8 billion; provided new loans to 2,955 people with outstanding debt of VND 208 billion.

The whole province currently has 12,711 people borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank, Quang Ninh branch with a total outstanding debt of 741 billion VND damaged by storm No. 3.
