In order to create favorable conditions and ensure the best physical condition for the referees, the organizing committee (OC) agreed on a plan with all referees to prepare and arrange the testing time to start in the morning, avoiding the effects of the hot weather in recent days.
In addition, medical work is also carefully prepared by the Organizing Committee with 4 ambulances and 4 medical teams on duty at the checkpoint to be ready to respond to any arising situations.
In addition, to be eligible to participate in the physical examination, referees attending the training must ensure that they have health examination documents as prescribed in Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT.
According to the announced results, out of a total of 62 referees and assistant referees who participated in the physical fitness test, 55 passed the tests, reaching a rate of 88.7%. Completing the physical fitness test is a prerequisite for referees to be considered for assignment.
During the physical test, a referee showed abnormal health symptoms. The on-duty medical team immediately performed first aid and performed active resuscitation measures on circulation and respiration, and quickly used an ambulance to transfer the referee to the hospital for further emergency measures.
Representatives of the Vietnam Football Federation and VPF, along with the referee board, were present at the hospital when the incident occurred. Currently, medical departments and related departments continue to be present at the hospital to closely monitor developments and coordinate with medical facilities in treatment.
After the physical test this morning, the referees continued the training program with the content of disseminating the Regulations of the national professional football tournaments for the 2025/26 season.
In the afternoon of the same day, the referees entered the theoretical test related to VAR technology - a key tool that will continue to be widely applied in V.League 2025/26. In addition, the referees also participated in analyzing and drawing experience from typical situations in the previous season, thereby consolidating their knowledge and improving their practical handling ability on the field.
The training program will continue until August 7 with in-depth content on competition rules, referee team coordination, video analysis and VAR operation. This is an important preparation step for the referee team to accompany the professional and transparent development of V.League - the highest tournament in the domestic football system.
