9 days of Lunar New Year holiday welcome more than 430 thousand tourists

Kinhtedothi - During the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday of At Ty 2025, the whole province of Nghe An welcomed more than 430 thousand visitors to visit and worship. The total revenue from tourism of Nghe An province during the Lunar New Year 2025 is estimated at 479 billion VND.


Nghe An Provincial Department of Tourism informed that this year's Lunar New Year holiday lasts for 9 days, the weather is quite favorable for sightseeing, entertainment and recreation activities of the people. During the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, Nghe An welcomed more than 430 thousand visitors to visit tourist attractions, of which about 138 thousand visitors stayed overnight.

On February 2 alone, historical sites and tourist destinations in Nghe An province welcomed more than 80,000 visitors. Total tourism revenue of Nghe An province during the 2025 Lunar New Year is estimated at 479 billion VND.

Destinations that attract a large number of tourists include: Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan district); Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site (Do Luong district); Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen district); Con Temple (Hoang Mai town), Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan district); Quang Trung Emperor Temple (Vinh city), etc.

To ensure compliance with the law in tourism service business activities at tourist attractions in Nghe An province during the Lunar New Year, the Department of Tourism Inspectorate and the Provincial Police's Foreign Security Department have inspected many tourist attractions in the area.

Through the inspection, the inspection team requested tourist attractions to further strengthen the work of ensuring security, order, environmental sanitation and safety for tourists. Focus on ensuring security, order, environmental sanitation and safety for tourists.

The inspection team also requested the Management Board of temples, pagodas, and relic sites to ban electric vehicles that do not meet operating conditions. It also put an end to the situation of vendors and parking attendants soliciting and stalking customers.
