Late this year, a gentle, white sand beach suddenly appeared on that familiar rocky outcrop after the tide receded. "Every 7-10 years in winter, the rising waters bring more sand into the bay. And like magic, the beach appears for a short time," the City of Sydney's website explained about this mysterious beach on October 16.
Despite its sudden appearance, the beach was quickly discovered by locals and posted online. Locals and tourists immediately flocked to witness the beach that only appears once every few years and lasts for a few days. When the water rises, the beach disappears again.
The beach is described by visitors as having "surreal beauty", suitable for swimming and surfing. However, local authorities still warn people to be careful when swimming in this area, do not swim in the red flag area because there are no lifeguards, especially for those with little experience.
