The first flight of the helicopter force participating in mission A80

On July 15, at Hoa Lac Airport (Hanoi), Division 371 (Air Defense - Air Force, Ministry of National Defense) successfully organized a flight of officers for the helicopter force.

This is the first flight in the process of training, joint practice, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and flight to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (mission A80). Major General Nguyen Phung Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force, attended and directed the flight.

Here, Regiment 916 (Division 371) has closely organized stages and steps to strengtheneducation work, thoroughly raise awareness, build determination for officers and soldiers about the importance of flight training, ensure flight safety; assign tasks to components, build scientific, specific, meticulous flight plans, seriously and closely implement them; well organize the implementation of technical, logistical, information assurance work...

During the flight, the flight commander operates scientifically and strictly; the pilot strictly follows the rules and regulations, performs the main movements accurately, in accordance with the commander's commands and flight requirements.

After nearly 4 hours of performing the mission, 6 aircraft of Regiment 916 (Division 371), Regiment 917 (Division 370) and Regiment 930 (Division 372) practiced flying 9 times, achieving 100% of the plan, ensuring absolute safety.

In his speech, Major General Nguyen Phung Tuan praised the officers and soldiers of Regiment 916, Regiment 917, and Regiment 930 for proactively overcoming difficulties and stabilizing their organization after moving to another airport; doing a good job of preparing and organizing the flight crew, ensuring scientific and strict compliance, achieving the set goals and requirements.

Major General Nguyen Phung Tuan requested the unit to continue to stabilize the situation in all aspects, do a good job of ideological work, ensure good material and spiritual life for soldiers; organize training, joint exercises, preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals and flights to celebrate National Day September 2 to ensure absolute safety.

Previously, at the Command Headquarters of Air Division 371 (Air Defense - Air Force), a conference on flight safety coordination was held between Air Division 371, Air Brigade 918 and the Northern Air Traffic Management Company, to coordinate the implementation of flight activities to celebrate the National Day on September 2.

Division 371 presented a plan for training flights, joint training, preliminary review, and general rehearsal, including 9 flight groups with 30 aircraft: helicopters, C-295 transport aircraft, C-212i aircraft, YAK-130 multi-purpose training aircraft, L-39NG aircraft, and Su-30MK2 fighter aircraft.
