At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee reported on the situation and results of the Steering Committee's activities in the first 9 months of the year; planned some key work contents for the last 3 months of the year; directed and handled cases and incidents that the Steering Committee continued to monitor and direct. The meeting participants discussed, gave comments and clarified further problems and issues that arose.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption chaired the meeting.
According to the assessment, in the past 9 months, the work of anti-corruption has had positive changes; the number of cases and incidents of corruption and negativity has decreased. The work of inspection, supervision and examination has been focused, key and comprehensive, especially in sensitive areas, prone to corruption and negativity such as public investment, auctions and bidding. The coordination between the agencies conducting the proceedings has been close; advising the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to effectively implement the conclusions of the Central Committee, notably the direction to promptly overcome the shortcomings, limitations and violations in the Inspection Conclusion No. 1027/KL-TTCP, dated April 28, 2023 of the Government Inspectorate and Notice No. 693-TB-UBKTTW, dated June 26, 2024 of the Central Inspection Committee; Advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee to direct the development of plans and implementation of studying the ideology of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong throughout the province, as well as organize conferences to study and study the ideology of the late General Secretary in conjunction with implementing the Regulations on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in law-making work. Focus on promptly handling corruption and negativity cases, creating good public opinion among the people, civil servants and party members.
Directing the key tasks for the last 3 months of the year, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Steering Committee and its members to continue to closely follow the remaining tasks according to the 2024 program and the specific assigned tasks, proactively, closely coordinate, promptly advise on effective implementation, and complete the proposed work plan. Continue to promote and improve the effectiveness of propaganda and education work, build a culture of integrity, no corruption, and negativity; direct the rectification and fight against the "fear of responsibility" among cadres and party members, especially leaders and managers at all levels; have strong solutions to effectively overcome the situation of harassment and inconvenience for people and businesses.

The media and press agencies actively and extensively propagate the work of anti-corruption; especially the example of revolutionary morality, simple, pure, honest lifestyle, dedicated, scientific , in-depth, and drastic working style; the thoughts and guiding views of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on anti-corruption work and affirm the determination, continuous, unceasing, resolute, and persistent fight against anti-corruption of Comrade General Secretary and President To Lam, creating a wide spread in society, strengthening people's trust in the determination to fight corruption and negativity of the Party and State. The Provincial Party Secretary also requested Party committees, authorities, and functional agencies at all levels to strengthen coordination to direct the handling and resolution of emerging cases in the area; Inspect and review complicated and prolonged cases, clearly identify the causes to focus on directing the final handling based on policies and laws, in accordance with the nature of the case, in accordance with reality to ensure stability of the situation towards serving the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the 14th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly. Continue to direct the strengthening of administrative procedure reform, effectively implement digital transformation, especially Project 06 on applying science and technology in the management and operation of state agencies and in handling records for people and businesses; publicize processes, procedures and time for handling work on the electronic information website to serve businesses and people conveniently, effectively and cost-effectively.
