The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the draft resolution.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Pham Thi Minh Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Manh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Van Dinh Thao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Le Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Meeting to review documents: Expected State budget public investment plan for 2025, Tuyen Quang province; draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council defining tasks on environmental protection from regular state budget expenditures in the province; draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council approving the number of cars for general work as prescribed in Clause 5, Article 8 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP dated September 26, 2023 of the Government in Tuyen Quang province; draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating the authority to decide on the procurement of assets, goods and services under the procurement budget in Tuyen Quang province as prescribed in Point c, Clause 1, Point b, Point c, Point d, Clause 2, Article 91 of Decree No. 24/2024/ND-CP dated February 27, 2024 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Bidding on contractor selection; Report on the issuance of a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council approving the content and tasks of expenditures for maintenance, repair and urgent handling of dike incidents managed by localities in the province; Report on the proposal to abolish 09 Resolutions on planning for sectors and fields of minerals, water resources, science and technology, agriculture and rural development.

At the meeting, delegates basically agreed with the content of the presented documents. Delegates requested that the drafting agencies review the wording in the documents for accuracy; adjust the resolution name to be concise; adjust, supplement, and clarify some specific contents in the Articles of the draft Resolution. Regarding the proposed State budget public investment plan for 2025, delegates requested the Provincial People's Committee to ensure capital allocation for projects and programs in accordance with regulations on principles, criteria, and capital allocation norms...

The opinions of the delegates of the Provincial People's Council were seriously received and clarified by the drafting agencies at the conference. The leaders of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested the drafting agencies to continue reviewing, considering and adjusting to complete the draft documents to ensure strictness and compliance with regulations for submission at the 8th Session.
