Temporarily detained 7 subjects involved in the "melee" due to land dispute

On April 18, Lai Chau Provincial Police informed that the Investigation Police Agency of Sin Ho District Police ( Lai Chau ) had issued a decision to prosecute and arrest 7 suspects involved in the "melee" due to a dispute over a field.

According to the case file, Giang A Thanh (born in 1973), his wife Ma Thi My (born in 1974), and their two children Giang A Chu (born in 1993) and Giang A Giao (born in 2001) went to clear fields in Na Ke 3 village, Hong Thu commune (Sin Ho - Lai Chau).

While Thanh's family was clearing the fields, Giang A Long (born in 1988) and his two younger brothers, Giang A Ba (born in 1993) and Giang A Tua (born in 2000), came with sticks and knives. Long asked Thanh's family to stop clearing the fields because there was a dispute in the area.

However, Thanh's family did not agree. The two sides argued and fought. During the fight, both sides used sticks and knives to injure each other. As a result, Tua suffered 5% injuries, Thanh suffered 5% injuries, Dao suffered 2% injuries, My suffered 5% injuries, Long suffered 11% injuries, and Ba suffered 6% injuries.

All 7 subjects above reside in Na Ke 3 village, Hong Thu commune.

The Investigation Police Agency serves the decision to prosecute the accused and the arrest warrant for the accused for temporary detention.
