VnExpressVnExpress15/06/2023

Binh Phuoc : A 32-year-old woman in Dong Phu district gave birth to a baby girl weighing 2.9 kg, still in her amniotic sac, at Hoan My Hospital.

On the afternoon of June 15, a representative of Hoan My Binh Phuoc Hospital said that the doctor punctured the amniotic sac and safely delivered the baby. The baby's mother was giving birth for the second time, and the doctor ordered a cesarean section because the first time was a cesarean section.

Currently, the health of both mother and child is stable. The doctor said that giving birth in the amniotic sac is a rare case, occurring in about 80,000 births.

In the womb, the fetus is housed in an amniotic sac. The amniotic sac is a thin but strong membrane filled with fluid that helps keep the fetus warm and safe. When the time is right, the amniotic sac ruptures before the baby is born.

Babies born in the amniotic sac are commonly referred to as "born in the amniotic sac". Babies born in the amniotic sac are prone to suffocation, so the ancients believed that if the baby survived, it would have good luck and wealth.
