Closing Ceremony of the 21st Dak Lak Province Ethnic Minority Sports Festival in 2025

After 4 days of exciting competition (from April 24-27), the 21st Dak Lak Province Ethnic Minority Sports Festival 2025 closed and awarded prizes on the afternoon of October 27.

The 21st Provincial Ethnic Minority Sports Festival in 2025 has more than 400 athletes from 13 delegations from districts, towns, and cities, competing in the following sports: men's mini football, cross-country, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, tug of war, stick pushing, stilt running, crossbow shooting, and slingshot shooting. These are traditional sports of ethnic minorities that are often held in local festivals.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the units with high scores.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 38 sets of medals to athletes who achieved high rankings in the competition events. In the end, with 292 points, Buon Ma Thuot city won the first prize overall; Krong Ana district ranked second with 212 points; M'Drak district ranked third with 195 points; and Krong Nang district won the consolation prize overall with 46 points.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's competition had high quality athletes participating. The organization was carefully prepared, so the competition was a great success.

The Dak Lak Province Ethnic Minority Sports Festival is a traditional annual sports event, aiming to widely develop the movement of sports training and competition, improve health, cultural life and spirit for the people; exploit, preserve and promote traditional cultural values as well as strengthen solidarity in the ethnic communities in the province; spread and promote the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"... At the same time, this is also an opportunity to select excellent athletes, representing the province to participate in the upcoming National Ethnic Minority Sports Festival Region II in Binh Phuoc province.
