Beandri Booysen (19 years old) is famous for her unique appearance and inspirational videos on social media. Despite her young age, her appearance is no different from that of an old woman.

She suffers from a rare genetic syndrome that causes her body to age prematurely. The syndrome affects about 1 in 20 million people worldwide . People with the syndrome begin to show signs of rapid aging within the first 2 years of life. Symptoms include slow growth, fat loss, hair loss, wrinkled skin, stiff joints, and cardiovascular disease.

However, she still maintains an optimistic and happy life. She always tries to live life to the fullest and goes to school like a normal person.

"I face everything that life brings. I am grateful to my family for giving me strength and support. I am grateful to my parents for raising me like a normal child. All of it has made me stronger and become the person I am today," she shared in early 2024.

She has over 278,000 followers on social media platform TikTok. She hopes to use her large presence on TikTok to inspire and motivate people in difficult circumstances, helping them stay positive every day.

Her heartwarming videos have attracted hundreds of thousands of views, bringing smiles and cheer to people. She always dreamed of becoming a teacher and getting married at 25, then giving birth to healthy twins.

However, on December 18, her family announced that she had passed away at the age of 19 after a long battle with difficulties. Previously, on October 8, she had undergone a challenging heart surgery.

"It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beandri Booysen, one of South Africa's most inspirational young women. Despite the challenges she faced, Beandri always spread hope and joy for life," her mother said.

A tribute video posted on her personal page after her death has received nearly 1 million views. Condolences quickly poured in under her memorial post.
