Introducing the characteristics, strengths and sharing the development orientations of historical tourism with the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield relic complex, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong expressed his hope that in the coming time, the working delegation will support with experience and techniques in the work of preserving and storing relics, documents, artifacts and displaying scientific artifacts; create conditions for organizing exhibitions, displays and introductions to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory in Saint Petersburg City; support and coordinate with Dien Bien province to organize delegations of officials and people to visit and learn about history at relic sites, museums... during the war to defend the Fatherland of the Russian Federation, including Saint Petersburg City. In terms of economy, Dien Bien province wishes to trade a number of goods in various fields to serve socio-economic development.
Mr. Tishhenko Pyotr Evgenievich, Chairman of the Archives Committee of Saint Petersburg City, thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome and shared his feelings about the land and people of Dien Bien. He also informed about the organization of an exhibition on the history of the Russian Federation in general and Saint Petersburg City in particular.
