This event was held directly in Hai Phong City and online at more than 300 points of 63 provinces and cities across the country with the participation of representatives from departments, branches, unions and women's associations at all levels, teachers and more than 30,000 students from high schools and secondary schools.

World Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated on 28 May every year to raise awareness about the importance of ensuring menstrual health and hygiene for all women and girls.

The event aims to mobilize global voices and actions from governments, non-profit organizations, the private sector, media and everyone to make the unspeakable become the norm and the taboo and stigma around “menstruation” no longer exist in society by 2030.

Communication activities in response to World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024 took place with many contents such as sharing knowledge and skills on menstrual hygiene management through performances, folk dances, and funny skits; sharing good solutions and initiatives with practical effectiveness to manage menstrual hygiene; interacting through quiz games, interacting with the audience at the event and at connecting points across the country.

Through communication activities to spread the message: Let's act together to create a world where women and girls have full access to information, education, facilities, services on clean water and sanitation to ensure safe personal hygiene.
