This morning, June 1, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Council for Selection of Outstanding Rural Industrial Products (RIP), Ha Sy Dong chaired the 7th meeting of the Provincial Council for Selection of Outstanding RIP, 2024.

In 2024, there were 43 product profiles/product sets of 39 IT establishments in the province participating in the vote for typical IT products. Of which, the agricultural, forestry, aquatic and food processing group had 31 profiles; the handicraft product group had 6 profiles; the equipment, machinery, tools and mechanical spare parts group had 2 profiles; the other product group had 4 profiles.
Based on the results of the actual survey and the scoring of the Jury of the Provincial Typical Industrial Technology Products Selection Council based on the criteria of market response and production development; economic - technical - social and environmental criteria; cultural and aesthetic criteria..., the Provincial Typical Industrial Technology Products Selection Council discussed, analyzed, evaluated and agreed to select 34 products/product sets of 32 industrial technology establishments to achieve the 7th Quang Tri Provincial Typical Industrial Technology Products in 2024. At the same time, it was agreed to select 10 products/product sets in order of score from high to low to participate in the Selection of Typical Industrial Technology Products at the Central - Central Highlands region level in 2024.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong emphasized that the promotion of voting for typical IT products aims to discover and honor quality products with potential for production development, market expansion, and meeting the needs and tastes of consumers of IT establishments in the province.
At the same time, voting for typical products also helps the IT establishments affirm the position and value of their products, thereby supporting establishments with award-winning products to access industrial promotion policies. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong suggested that the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting continue to consider and strengthen support activities for products certified as typical IT products at the provincial level to help establishments develop sustainably and long-term, thereby improving product quality, contributing to solving employment for local workers.
On the other hand, it is necessary to always accompany and promptly resolve difficulties and problems for entities whose products participate in the voting for typical IT products at the regional level so that IT establishments have the conditions to improve their competitiveness, participate deeply in the product value chain, which is an important basis for applying scientific and technological advances in production to improve the quality and output of goods, meeting market requirements.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also gave his opinion on the time, award structure, and scale of the ceremony to honor and award certificates for the 7th provincial typical IT products in 2024 on the basis of ensuring practical significance, creating a widespread influence on typical IT products of Quang Tri .
