De Choat - Rap Viet season 1 champion
This is the first time Vietnamese artists have been invited to perform at one of the Super Bowl events - one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. The Super Bowl is not only a football tournament but also a festival and cultural tradition of the United States.
There will be many exciting sideline programs surrounding the Super Bowl event, including the Super Bowl Tailgate - a place for players, fans, sports enthusiasts and artists to meet and interact before the match.
For the first time in history, the Vietnamese community in the US has co-organized the Super Bowl Tailgate event. The representative of the organizing committee - RocketBuffalo Inc. said that this is a special occasion for the Vietnamese community to fully immerse themselves in the exciting atmosphere of the Super Bowl tournament and bring Vietnamese culture closer to international friends.
That's why they invited a number of Vietnamese artists to perform in the US at the Super Bowl Tailgate, including young rappers: De Choat, Lang LD and Blacka.
The 2024 Super Bowl Finals for the National Football League championship are scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Therefore, the "pre-game" event Super Bowl Tailgate also falls right on the occasion of Lunar New Year. A representative from RocketBuffalo Inc said that this year's program, in addition to top-notch musical performances, will also integrate traditional activities of Vietnamese Tet.
De Choat, Lang LD and Blacka also confirmed that they will come to the US to perform at the Super Bowl Tailgate at the invitation of the organizers. All three artists expressed their pride and excitement when talking about this invitation.
Blacka revealed that he will bring a series of the best songs from his upcoming album - "Ke Song 2 Thoi" to serve overseas Vietnamese and international friends when coming to Super Bowl Tailgate.
Meanwhile, Lang LD confided: "Honestly, when I received the invitation at first, I didn't dare to believe it right away. When I received the email from the Organizing Committee, I was overwhelmed and felt very honored. This is not only my joy but also an inspiration for many young people pursuing the Underground path.
This time coming to America, Lang LD wants to bring the sound of his homeland to introduce to the Super Bowl Tailgate audience. It would be very touching if I could speak Vietnamese in the middle of that event, in that atmosphere."
