Politburo assigns person to run Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee

TPO – The Politburo has assigned Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, to run the activities of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of this province is completed.

On the afternoon of September 5, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trung Thu - Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, issued Official Dispatch No. 3511- CV/TU to agencies, units, and departments of this province to notify about the Politburo's assignment to manage the work of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

According to Official Dispatch No. 3511 - CV/TU of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, the Central Party Office has just announced that Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, was assigned by the Politburo to run the work of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee from August 29, 2024 until the position of Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term is completed according to regulations.

On the same morning, at the Conference of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice, Ms. Phan Thi Hong Ha - Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Justice, announced Decision No. 1519 - QDNS/TW dated August 27, 2024 of the Party Central Committee appointing her to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice.

According to this decision, Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh (Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Justice) ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; and was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice.

Previously, at the 8th extraordinary session on August 26, the National Assembly approved the appointment of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh as Minister of Justice for the 2021-2026 term. The resolution approving the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh at the proposal of the Prime Minister was passed by the National Assembly on the same day.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan was born on April 19, 1970, in Ninh Thuy ward, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province. His professional qualifications are Bachelor of Judicial Law, Bachelor of Party Building and State Administration. In February 2020, Mr. Toan was elected Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. In October 2020, Mr. Toan was re-elected as Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
