To prepare for the high school graduation exam, the Ministry of Education and Training organized 5 working groups with localities on exam preparation, from June 10 to June 17.

The delegations include: The delegation led by Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son worked in Hau Giang and Quang Ngai; the delegation led by Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong worked in Ha Tinh and Vinh Phuc; the delegation led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc worked in Ho Chi Minh City, Long An and Can Tho; the delegation led by Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son inspected in Quang Nam and Da Nang; the delegation led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Chi inspected in Yen Bai and Lao Cai.

On June 11, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi and members of working group No. 4 of the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam worked on exam preparations in Lao Cai province.

Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province, Duong Bich Nguyet, said that this year, the total number of candidates registered and eligible to take the exam in Lao Cai province is 8,385, of which 323 are independent candidates, with 368 exam rooms at 26 exam locations across the province. It is expected that about 1,800 officials and teachers will participate in organizing the exam.

In order for the exam to take place safely, seriously, honestly, objectively, fairly and with quality, Lao Cai province has promoted communication work according to the plan in the stages before, during and after the exam to raise awareness among managers, teachers, staff, students, parents and create consensus among the whole society.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi highly appreciated the preparations for the 2024 high school graduation exam in Lao Cai province. In particular, the province has identified the practical difficulties of its locality to develop many backup plans to ensure security, safety, confidentiality and ensure the highest benefits for candidates.

Lao Cai is a mountainous province with a large area and often has unfavorable weather conditions. Therefore, the Deputy Minister noted the need to take precautions to ensure that unusual factors do not occur, and to coordinate, support, and ensure the best interests of candidates so that the exam can take place safely and achieve high results.
