Minister of Foreign Affairs hands over appointment decisions to 5 Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad

On the morning of January 2, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Central Party Committee member and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son presented the appointment decisions to 5 Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad.

Speaking at the ceremony to hand over the appointment decisions, in the atmosphere of the new year 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son congratulated the officials who had just been appointed as Ambassadors, Resident Representatives and Consuls General of Vietnam in the localities. The Minister emphasized that this was the trust of the Party Committee and the Ministry's leaders in the capacity and working experience of the officials.

Assigning specific tasks to each official, the Minister requested the new Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to continue to strongly promote the cooperative relationship between localities and businesses of the two countries in all aspects: politics , economy, culture-society, citizen protection... to become substantive and effective. In the context that the whole Industry is actively implementing the foreign policy according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and building and developing the Industry comprehensively, modernly, and strongly..., the Minister hopes that the new Heads of representative agencies will promote their capacity and strengths, lead their units to unite, successfully complete their assigned tasks, and actively contribute to attracting resources, serving the country's development and protecting the Fatherland.
