Military Region 4 Command donated necessities worth more than 2 billion VND to support flood victims in Nghe An province.

On August 7, at the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Military Region 4 Command handed over 38 tons of goods worth more than 2 billion VND donated by the armed forces of Military Region 4 to support flood-hit communes in the western part of Nghe An province.

Immediately after the historic flood that caused extremely heavy damage to the people of the communes in Western Nghe An, the Military Region 4 Command called on officers and soldiers to donate more than 38 tons of goods and necessities such as rice, instant noodles, mineral water, fresh milk, school supplies, etc. worth more than 2 billion VND to support the people.

This is the sentiment of the officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 4 sent to the flood victims with the hope that people will overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives, contribute to strengthening the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people, and build a great national unity bloc in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and thanked the sentiments and sharing of the armed forces of Military Region 4 with the people affected by floods during the past time. He affirmed that with the timely and responsible help of Military Region 4 in terms of human resources, vehicles, machinery, etc., people in the flooded areas have quickly rebuilt their houses, cleaned up the environment, prevented epidemics after the flood, and soon stabilized their lives.

According to the plan, after the handover at the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Military Region 4 will organize a convoy of vehicles to transport goods to support localities affected by storm No. 3 in the western communes of Nghe An.
