Organizing the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day with the highest pride, enthusiasm and responsibility

On the afternoon of August 7, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh chaired a meeting to prepare for the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and towards the 80th Anniversary of National Day September 2. The meeting was attended by leaders of units under the Ministry.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh emphasized that the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day is a particularly important occasion for the sector, joining in the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 as well as other important events of the country.

"With all pride, responsibility and enthusiasm, we are determined to organize the best event, both to raise the pride of those who are contributing to the Cultural Industry and also to show gratitude to those who have contributed to the Industry.

This is also a demonstration of responsibility to the Industry, so that society can see the contributions and stature of the Cultural Industry and also so that future generations can see the achievements that have been made," said Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh, asking units to clearly identify the meaning and stature of the event to carry out their tasks with the utmost dedication.

Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh also noted that the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day was held in the context that units were simultaneously performing many tasks to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 as well as other important tasks, so units needed to make more efforts, allocate time to perform tasks, and overcome difficulties to successfully complete assigned tasks.

At the meeting, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cao Le Tuan Anh reported on the general tasks and progress of the preparation work for the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day; leaders of the Departments and functional units of the Ministry also reported on the implementation of the work, difficulties and obstacles as well as proposed a number of recommendations to the Ministry's leaders.

After listening to opinions and concluding the meeting, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts of the units under the Ministry in preparing to organize the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day.

Despite the tight deadline and heavy workload, the units were very proactive, responsible and dedicated in carrying out the tasks.

The speeches at the meeting agreed that the organization of the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day is a very important event, with many meanings for the Cultural Sector and for the whole society. This is an opportunity for us to spread and raise social awareness of the Cultural Sector as well as the fields under the state management of the Ministry.

Noting that there is not much time left until the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day, the amount of work to be carried out is huge, the Permanent Deputy Minister requested that units focus highly and complete important tasks.

  Plan to organize the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day

Units need to closely follow the work contents stated in the Plan for Organizing the Ceremony to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) for implementation.

In addition, well implement related tasks such as finance, guests, and art programs. In particular, units must have close coordination in implementing work.

Regarding propaganda work, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh noted that communication work should not only focus on the Anniversary but also communicate to the Industry, and on this occasion, from now on, it is necessary to promote communication work about the Culture Industry./.
