Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requests early submission of Project to rearrange press agencies

The project to reorganize press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City will serve as a basis for resolving policies and regimes for officials and employees in press agencies when implementing organizational restructuring.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just concluded on directing the implementation of a number of contents on resolving regimes and policies according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government .

Decree 178 is about policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system. Decree 67 is about amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 178.

According to the conclusion, to ensure the implementation of Conclusion 183-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat on "handling and resolving policies and regimes for cadres and civil servants affected by the restructuring of the apparatus before August 31, 2025", the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee agreed to continue using Instruction 3053/HD-UBND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee until new instructions are issued. Instruction 3053 is about evaluating cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to reorganize the apparatus, streamline the payroll and restructure, improve the quality of cadres and civil servants and resolve policies and regimes.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently advise and submit to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee a project to reorganize the press agencies of Ho Chi Minh City. The above project will serve as a basis for resolving the regime and policies for officials and employees in the press agencies when implementing the reorganization of the apparatus to ensure progress according to Conclusion 183.
