The title of Hoa Minzy's new song "Bac Bling" caused controversy, forcing the female singer to speak up to explain.

New song title   Hoa Minzy   The controversial "North Bling" caused the female singer to later speak up to explain.

Hoa Minzy   just announced a new music project called   Bac Bling ( Bac Ninh ).   The above title immediately caused controversy with many conflicting opinions. Many people asked what "bling" meant here. Immediately after, Hoa Minzy spoke up to explain. She said "bling" is a wordplay of "Ninh" in Bac Ninh. The song title implies a Bac Ninh that is sparkling, shining and reaching for development, according to Hoa Minzy's explanation.

According to Hoa Minzy, when implementing this music project in Bac Ninh, she and her crew applied for a license and received approval. She added: "We will do something unprecedented in Vietnamese showbiz together with our hometown people". When an audience commented: "Preserving the purity of the Vietnamese language", the female singer replied: "I made a music video, not a travel documentary. If you watch the MV, you will see that it is reasonable". Currently, many audiences suggested that Hoa Minzy should title the product "Bling" Bac, which would be more reasonable, to avoid misunderstandings.

This is not the first time that singers have changed the language when naming songs, such as Hoang Thuy Linh with   See love   or AMEE with   Mong Yu . However, Hoa Minzy's case is more controversial because Bac Bling is a variation of the name of a province. In addition, the pronunciation of "Bling" is not exactly the same as "Ninh" in Bac Ninh.

Recently, information about Hoa Minzy participating in Dap Gio in China (the original version of Chi dep dap gio rot song) was spread on social networks. However, on the afternoon of February 5, the female singer denied it. She said: "Hoa will not participate in Chi dep in China or any other program in 2025. China really invited her, but this year Hoa is quite busy with many projects so she refused. Hoa is still focusing on developing in Vietnam and hopes to have many opportunities to develop internationally later."
