That experience helped me realize that although this generation has certain limitations, I have to admit that they are quite mature.
Generation Z was born with the development of the Internet and the rise of science and technology, so they can access the vast world with just simple touches on phone and computer screens.
The world opens up easily to Gen Z, they approach global youth, freely explore, learn and adapt to new lifestyles.
That process of absorption is sometimes a bit off-standard, inappropriate or sometimes goes against traditional culture.
The consequence of not being selective in communicating and learning from social networks makes some people "mixed", even a bit rebellious in dress and personality.
The good side of individual lifestyle is that it helps you to freely express yourself, without being constrained by existing patterns. But if it goes too far, it can turn you into selfish, heartless, undisciplined, and contemptuous of others.
The indifferent attitude, easily raising their voice at others, even older people, also due to their big ego, leads to uncontrolled behavior. This partly explains the low tolerance, easily choosing to give up both in work and life that many opinions have said about Gen Z.
It cannot be denied that many young people of Gen Z inherit traditions, study systematically, and selectively absorb the values of the vast world they approach, so they behave professionally at work and in communication.
Many of you have achieved great success, created your own admirable style and should be supported.
Admiration but need to seriously point out the type of "thinking the sky is the limit", being too confident in one's knowledge or being too selfish because of valuing oneself too much that many comments are saying about this generation.
Pointing out is not for hatred or suppression, but to contribute to orientation, from education to communication, to help you build a more complete and suitable self-image.
Generation gap is an inevitable problem in every era. Remember that the 8X generation was also criticized, not recognized or condemned by the previous generation for being insensitive and lacking depth. The era creates people, the living environment will greatly affect the personality and lifestyle of the generation.
For Gen Z, because they were born and raised in the technology era, they certainly cannot avoid being influenced by technology (both positively and negatively) in creating the face of their generation.
In addition to studying and accessing modern science, you also have better foreign language skills so you can "cross the country and go out into the world". Being more independent means you are also more subjective, personalizing your life is also natural!
Understand the values, advantages and disadvantages of each generation to not only live together peacefully but also help highlight the outstanding points of Gen Z instead of criticizing, condemning or excluding each other.
To me, Gen Z students are my friends, learning together, not taking the position of a teacher to impose knowledge or force them to follow my will. I wouldn’t mind if I met a Gen Z student with a personality who argued with me or dressed differently than I thought.
