According to Business Insider, during the discussions, attendees not only learned how to use technology, but were also inspired to think about the question: who should technology serve and according to what values?

While some businesses talk excitedly about productivity and optimization, researchers at LSE emphasize the need for ethical AI, where data is not just an asset, but also a liability.

According to experts, AI is expected to create great strides in healthcare, education and urban development. But without a strong enough legal framework and transparency in how AI operates and makes decisions, the most vulnerable communities may be the first victims of this revolution.

At the same time (June 18 and 19), Europe's largest AI Conference (AI Conference London) took place in London. The focus of the conference was to promote the application of AI in life, cities and businesses, and to discuss challenges in data governance and AI ethics.

The conference brings together business leaders, technology experts, investors from leading technology corporations such as Microsoft, Oracle, Hidden Layer, along with representatives from regulatory agencies and AI startups.

In addition to modern technology demonstrations and a suitable exchange space between businesses, technology startups, urban authorities and investors, the conference is a forum to shape the future of responsible and community-oriented AI.

The balance between innovation and control has been a recurring theme throughout the discussions, not only from experts, but also from policymakers and the startup community.
