Just a few years ago, the Thu Thiem riverbank in Thu Duc city from Ba Son bridge to the roof of Thu Thiem tunnel was still a narrow dirt path, many sections of degraded construction, overgrown with weeds. However, now, when standing from Bach Dang wharf (District 1) looking over, many people are surprised by the "transformation" of this place. The riverbank that was once full of reeds is now replaced by lush green grass, clean walkways along the water's edge, interwoven with flowers, miniature landscapes and trees, winding around the urban areas that are gradually taking shape.
