Straining to regulate traffic through flooded areas on Phap Van highway

Earlier, from early this morning (September 10), at Km191+400 of Phap Van Expressway, water in the downstream area overflowed onto the expressway, the traffic police force conducted traffic diversion, temporarily banned traffic to ensure safety for vehicles. Immediately after the incident, Mr. Bui Quang Thai, Director of the Vietnam Road Administration, directly inspected and gave instructions on the operation of the route. Along with the request to continue to concentrate forces to regulate traffic, ensuring safe traffic for vehicles, the leader of the Vietnam Road Administration requested the investor to study and supplement drainage works. In case the flooding cannot be resolved, Mr. Thai assigned the investor to study and renovate the works by raising the roadbed level of some essential sections.
