During this peak, professional units under the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control coordinated with the Police of units and localities to deploy professional measures to detect and destroy organized, transnational high-tech crime rings; crimes of fraud and appropriation of property, etc.
According to Major General Le Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, the high-profile deployment aims to maintain security and order; create favorable conditions for the operation of the two-level government model, absolutely protect the security and safety of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day.
This is an activity of important political and social significance for the country. It is predicted that hostile forces and high-tech criminals at home and abroad will take advantage of this time to increase sabotage activities, spread false information to cause public confusion and destabilize society.
To effectively implement this peak period, units must clearly define political responsibilities; focus highly on and strictly implement assigned tasks according to the plan, and avoid any mistakes in any situation. In particular, focus on detecting and dismantling organized, transnational high-tech crime rings.
Focus on grasping the situation in cyberspace; do a good job of State management of cyber security. Fight strongly against violations of the law in the fields of finance, banking, telecommunications, e-commerce, etc.
At the same time, coordinate with mass media and communication agencies to promote the outstanding achievements of the force in the peak deployment.
