According to the regulations of the Asian Cup C2, teams from the Western region such as Al Nassr and teams from the Eastern region such as Nam Dinh and CAHN Club will not meet each other until before the final match.
Therefore, to face Ronaldo's Al Nassr, Quang Hai, Viet Anh, Nguyen Filip of CAHN Club, or Tuan Anh, Xuan Son, Van Vy of Nam Dinh must reach the final.
This is a mission that was successfully accomplished by a representative of Southeast Asian football in the previous season's Asian Cup C2. Lion City Sailor (Singapore) reached the final of the 2024-2025 Asian Cup C2.
The Lion Island team became the first Southeast Asian team in history to reach the championship match of the Asian Cup C2.
