A large fire broke out overnight, damaging four houses in Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province.
On March 13, according to information from the People's Committee of Ninh Thanh Loi A commune (Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province), a fire broke out overnight in the area, damaging 4 houses.
Leaders of Ninh Thanh Loi A commune (Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province) promptly encouraged, visited and provided support to the family whose house was burned down.
According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 9:00 p.m. on March 12. At that time, people in Thong Nhat Hamlet, Ninh Thanh Loi A Commune, Hong Dan District suddenly discovered a fire breaking out from the house of Ms. NTN (67 years old), so they shouted for everyone to help put out the fire. At the same time, they reported to the authorities for assistance in extinguishing the fire.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene and coordinated with local people to deploy a fire fighting plan.
However, due to dry weather and strong winds, the house was built with wooden pillars, leaf walls, and a corrugated iron roof, so the fire broke out very quickly.
The fire was completely extinguished at 11:30 p.m. the same day.
Authorities help people overcome the consequences of the fire.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties, but completely burned down the two houses of Ms. NTN and Ms. TTB and burned down part of two houses of two adjacent households, with initial estimated damage of about 300 million VND.
After the incident, the People's Committee of Hong Dan district directed the local government to send forces to support people whose houses were affected and to overcome the consequences of the fire. At the same time, urgently investigate and clarify the cause of the fire.
Along with that, consider policies to support families whose houses were burned down, to quickly stabilize their lives.
