Fisheries Control Squadron No. 3 receives support from Heroic Vietnamese Mother

DNO - On the morning of July 22, Fisheries Control Team No. 3 held a ceremony to receive lifelong care for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Cang (residing in Trung Thanh village, Tam My commune, Da Nang city).

Leaders of Fisheries Control Squadron No. 3 receive support from Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Cang.

Mother Ngo Thi Cang, 102 years old, is a woman whose husband and one son sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country. In 2014, she was awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother by the State. She also directly participated in the resistance war against the US and was awarded the First Class Resistance Medal. She is currently living with her fifth son in Trung Thanh village (Tam My commune).

In gratitude for the great contributions of Mother and her family, Fisheries Control Squadron No. 3 commits to taking care of Mother for life, providing monthly support of 1 million VND and will take care of and visit Mother on holidays, Tet, War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), or when Mother is sick. The Squadron will also continue to care for and provide material and spiritual support to Mother and her family.
