(CLO) Collector Nguyen Van Kinh has just introduced three bronze drums recognized as national treasures and two bronze jars of the Dong Son culture at the exhibition.
The exhibition features 36 typical artifacts of the Dong Son period, including 3 bronze drums that have been recognized as National Treasures.

These bronze drums not only have archaeological value but are also cultural symbols, reflecting the stature and national identity through thousands of years of history.
The Kinh Hoa bronze drum was recognized as a national treasure in 2020. The drum is 59 cm high, with a face and foot diameter of 89 cm, dating from the 4th - 3rd century BC, belonging to the Dong Son culture. The name Kinh Hoa is associated with the name of the collector - the legal owner of the treasure.

The intricate patterns on the drums demonstrate the master craftsmanship of the ancient Vietnamese, containing invaluable information about the life, activities, beliefs and rituals of the Dong Son community. The exhibition brought viewers back to the thousand-year-old civilization of the nation.

In addition to bronze drums, the exhibition also displays many other unique artifacts that contribute to a more comprehensive representation of the material and spiritual life of the Dong Son people, helping the public better understand the cultural foundation that forms the Vietnamese identity.
The exhibition is organized by the Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with the private Kinh Hoa Museum. According to experts, the artifacts from private collections have brought a new breeze to the treasure trove of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
The exhibition “Dong Son Art” is open to visitors until February 18, on the 2nd floor of Building B, Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi .
