Proactively respond to tropical depressions and strong winds at sea

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this morning (July 4), the low pressure area in the northeastern sea of the North East Sea has strengthened into a tropical depression, moving in the North Northeast direction at a speed of 15-20km/h.

It is forecasted that tomorrow morning (July 5), the tropical depression will move in the West Northwest direction at a speed of 10-15km/h and is likely to strengthen.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue has sent an official dispatch to provincial departments, branches, units, People's Committees of coastal communes and wards and related units to proactively take response measures.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue requests the People's Committees of coastal communes and wards; People's Committees of communes and wards with ships and boats operating at sea and relevant departments, branches and units to closely monitor warning bulletins and forecasts on the development of tropical depressions; notify captains and owners of vehicles and boats operating at sea to proactively prevent and adjust production plans, ensure safety of people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle bad situations that may occur. Prepare forces and means to deploy rescue work when situations arise.

Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television increase the time to report news and articles about natural disasters to authorities at all levels and people.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station closely monitors, forecasts, warns, and promptly informs about developments of heavy rain to proactively deploy response measures.

The units organize their duty seriously and regularly report to the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Civil Defense, Incident Response, Natural Disasters and Search and Rescue.
