According to the Organizing Committee, the honored collectives are units with a long history of achievements, reminding us of the proud historical journey and great achievements in many fields of the nation since 1945 until now.

In addition, this year's program honors new, innovative, creative factors, demonstrating the nation's aspirations to reach out, and ordinary people who do extraordinary things.

A typical example is mine worker Pham Dinh Duan, a worker at Mining Workshop 14, Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company - Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, who was recently awarded the title of Labor Hero, with more than 20 years of hard work underground.

Or Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Van Hung, with the wish to develop a quality university in the Northern mountainous region; Dr. Tran Tan Phuong is still working hard with ST25 rice seeds even though he has retired... They are living embodiments of the spirit of "labor is glorious", of the Vietnamese people's unceasing aspiration to rise up in all circumstances.

According to Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the year 2025 marks many important historical milestones of the nation. Through the program, the Organizing Committee wishes to arouse the sense of responsibility and aspiration of each individual and collective in building a prosperous Vietnam; encourage the active participation of all classes of people in the common development journey of the country.

The selection of individuals and collectives is based on three main criteria, including: Individuals and collectives with significant and especially important contributions in 80 years of building and defending the Fatherland; have excellently completed their tasks in recent years and have the potential to contribute in the future, especially in areas such as digital economy , green economy , innovation, sustainable development; are advanced models with exemplary actions, highly appreciated by society, and positively inspiring the community.

“We believe that Vietnam Glory 2025 is not only about honoring, but also contributes to spreading good values, adding motivation and inspiration for every Vietnamese person to live more kindly, work more responsibly, dare to dream, dare to commit, dare to contribute,” said Ms. Thai Thu Xuong.

As of 2025, a total of 313 groups and individuals have been honored in the annual Vietnam Glory programs. This year's program will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi).

This year's prize is 50 million VND/group; 30 million VND/honored individual. This is the largest prize ever of the program.
