According to the organizers, Long Thanh is not only an airport but also the nucleus of a modern airport city. If it takes full advantage of connectivity, logistics and industry, this city will develop strongly, expanding beyond the scope of Long Thanh airport.
When properly planned and developed, Long Thanh and Ho Chi Minh City can become a pair of typical cities in Southeast Asia.

The workshop was organized into two thematic sessions. Session 1 focused on perfecting infrastructure and traffic connections between Long Thanh and Ho Chi Minh City, with presentations by leaders of Dong Nai , Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, and multi-dimensional discussions between management agencies and businesses.

Session 2 clarifies the potential, development model, and promotion of Long Thanh's intrinsic values with presentations by experts from the Policy Advisory Council, the National Institute of Architecture, and the Fulbright School of Public Policy & Management, along with open discussions among experts, associations, and investors.
