Reporters Club in Quang Tri gives gifts to veteran journalists

On this occasion, the Resident Press Reporters Club in Quang Tri province visited journalist Le Tram (reporter of VTV Television Station) who was seriously ill and burned incense for the late journalist Ho Cau (former reporter of Vietnam News Agency, resident in Quang Tri ).

In addition, the Club also visited and gave gifts to retired journalists in the area, and visited the Senior Journalists Club of Quang Tri province.

At the visit, the club representative sent greetings and congratulations to the journalists who have made many contributions to the development of Quang Tri province in particular and the Vietnamese revolutionary press in general.

Also here, young journalists had the opportunity to learn experience and journalism skills from veteran journalists.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoa, former Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Quang Tri Province Senior Journalists Club, said: "We are journalists of the previous generation, during the war that divided the country. On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, I was deeply moved to be visited by young journalists of the next generation. I hope that young journalists will develop their full potential, using their intellectual talent and writing to write good articles, contributing to building the homeland and country more and more prosperous."

This is an annual activity of the Central Press Reporters Club in Quang Tri province on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Also on the occasion of celebrating the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the Resident Press Reporters Club in Quang Tri province recently presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged students at A Bung Primary and Secondary School (Ta Rut commune, Dakarong district, Quang Tri province).

The Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri province was established under Decision No. 39/QD - HNB dated May 12, 2014 of the Quang Tri Journalists Association. Club members are journalists and reporters from central, sectoral, provincial and municipal press agencies residing in Quang Tri province. The Club's activities comply with the Press Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Journalists Association .
