The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday for Hanoi students will last from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 26 to January 5). With 9 days off, Hanoi is among the cities and provinces that give students the least Tet holiday in the country.

Students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh have 11 days off for Tet

Students of preschool, general education and continuing education in Ho Chi Minh City will have Tet holiday from January 23 to February 2, 2025 (December 24, Giap Ty year to January 5, At Ty year). Thus, the total number of Tet holidays for students in Ho Chi Minh City is 11 days.

Ha Tinh students will have Tet holiday from January 25 to February 4, 2025 (December 26 to January 7).

Students in Can Tho, Dak Nong, Gia Lai have 12 days off for Tet

Can Tho students will have Tet holiday from January 22, 2025 (December 23, year of Giap Thin) to February 2, 2025 (January 5, year of At Ty). Dak Nong and Gia Lai students will have Tet holiday from January 25 to February 5, 2025 (December 26 to January 8).

Long An students have 10 days off for Tet
