In the solemn atmosphere of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) taking place this morning, teacher Huynh Manh Phuong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Economics and Law (UEL), Ho Chi Minh City National University, was honored to represent the young generation of Vietnam to speak.
This event not only affirms the talent and bravery of a 9X union cadre but also demonstrates the Party and State's trust in the role of youth in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Golden board of academic achievements and union and association activities
Teacher Huynh Manh Phuong (born in 1998, from Binh Duong ) is no longer a strange name in the community of students, university students, union and association officials. Once an excellent student, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Finance - Banking Law from UEL with a good degree, she was retained at the school to work, continuing to devote her intelligence and enthusiasm to the cause of education and union and association work.
With a passion for learning, from a very early age, Phuong researched and accessed many documents to learn about the Party organization, thereby forming admiration and a steadfast belief in the Communist Party of Vietnam . That was also a great source of spiritual encouragement for Phuong to strive every day and was admitted to the Party while still a student.

Huynh Manh Phuong was honored to be admitted to the Party on July 4, 2016, at the Party Cell of Thai Hoa High School (Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province), when she was only 18 years old.
Huynh Manh Phuong's high school education journey is a series of remarkable achievements: 12 consecutive years of being an excellent student, twice winning the Literature Olympic Gold Medal - Sao Khue Award at the provincial level... Not only good at his profession, Phuong is also an exemplary youth union member, always at the forefront of all movements.
Manh Phuong's mark in the work of the Youth Union is shown through a series of provincial awards: First prize in the English Olympic contest for Youth Union officials of Binh Duong province in 2014; First prize in the contest for excellent Youth Union Secretary of Binh Duong province in 2015. With her positive contributions, she was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the People's Committee of Binh Duong province for her outstanding achievements in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh in the period 2011-2015.

She is also a typical young citizen of Binh Duong province and has achieved many consecutive years of outstanding achievements in the Youth Union and youth movement, receiving the title of "Three Good Students" awarded by Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union in 2016.
In 2015, with his fluent foreign language skills and youthful dynamism, Manh Phuong was one of 20 Binh Duong youth delegates selected to participate in a cultural exchange program in Daejeon city, Korea, contributing to promoting the image of dynamic and intelligent Vietnamese youth to international friends.
Youngest Party Representative and Voice of the Generation
In 2020, at the age of 20 and still a student, Huynh Manh Phuong became the youngest delegate to attend the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2020-2025. With 4 years of Party membership at that time, she demonstrated her maturity in political awareness and sense of responsibility as a young party member.
The 9X girl also represented the young generation to speak at the 130th Birthday Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020) in Hanoi. Her emotional and meaningful speech deeply conveyed the aspirations, pride and sense of responsibility of Vietnamese youth for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Before becoming Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Economics and Law in July 2024, Ms. Huynh Manh Phuong held the role of President of the Student Union and Permanent Deputy Secretary, accumulating a lot of experience in Youth Union work and youth movements.
Sharing about her connection with the Youth Union, Huynh Manh Phuong said that since she was a child, she was often accompanied by her seniors in charge of organizing games and activities during the summer. The image of the beautiful, funny, young and dynamic Youth Union officers was soon imprinted in her mind, becoming a source of inspiration for her to follow in their footsteps.
