On December 31, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Investigation Police Agency is detaining Nguyen Thi Ly (41 years old, nicknamed "Crow"), Nguyen Tran Cao Nguyen (41 years old, captain of an airline), and Huynh Le Bao Yen (29 years old) to investigate the act of Prostitution.
In addition, authorities are inviting Vo Thi Minh Thuy (33 years old), a person involved in the incident, to come to the police station to present herself; however, this person has fled the area.

Through the work of grasping the area and information provided by the people, the Criminal Police Department (PC02) of Ho Chi Minh City Police discovered that the above group of people were providing prostitution according to the business model of restaurants and karaoke with female attendants serving and selling sex when customers had demand.

On the evening of December 25, police caught Nguyen Thi Ly and Huynh Le Bao Yen brokering prostitution for four couples at two luxury apartments in the Vinhomes Golden River residential area, District 1.
Working with the police, Ly khai that after closing the restaurant on Nguyen Cong Tru street, Cau Ong Lanh ward, district 1, Ly and Nguyen Tran Cao Nguyen (Ly's boyfriend) moved the restaurant and karaoke business model with female attendants serving and selling sex to customers in need to two apartments lent by a friend on the 31st floor of the Aqua4 building, Vinhomes Golden River residential area.

To operate, Ly collaborated with Vo Thi Minh Thuy to find prostitutes to share the profits and asked Huynh Le Bao Yen to help by going to the market, serving customers food and drinks, and recording the times customers had sex.
