On July 24, the Military Admissions Board, Ministry of National Defense announced the minimum scores for admission to regular military universities and colleges in 2023.

Accordingly, the Military Science Academy has a minimum score of 23 points, applied to female candidates applying for admission with the combination of D01 (Math, Literature, English), D02 (Math, Literature, Russian) and D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese).

The Military Medical Academy's minimum score is the same as the Ministry of Education and Training 's regulations for health majors. Of which, the Medical major takes 22.5 points.

On the contrary, the Officer Schools have a much lower threshold for ensuring input quality. In particular, the lowest score for candidates from the South applying for admission with the combination of A00 and A01 to the Artillery Officer School is 15.

The Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense notes that during the registration period, candidates can register for one of the schools according to the pre-selected group, according to the correct region and subject.

Group 1 includes the following academies: Logistics, Navy, Border Guard, Air Defense-Air Force (Command and Staff system) and officer schools: Army 1 (for candidates with permanent residence from Quang Binh province to the North), Army 2 (for candidates with permanent residence from Quang Tri province to the South), Politics, Special Forces, Artillery, Armored Vehicles, Chemical Defense, Information, Engineering.

Group 2 includes the following academies: Military Engineering, Military Medicine, and Military Science.

For schools and majors with many admission combinations, candidates can register to change their admission combinations within the school or within the major. In addition, military academies and schools only consider admission to the military university and college training system for candidates who have met the preliminary selection requirements and registered for admission in their first choice (highest choice).

Candidates can register and adjust their wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training until 5:00 p.m. on July 30.
