On December 6, Da Nang Hospital held a ceremony to announce the decision and receive ISO 15189:2012 certificate for 3 departments: Biochemistry, Hematology - Blood Transfusion, Microbiology.
By applying ISO 15189:2012, 3 clinical laboratories of Da Nang Hospital are objectively proven and recognized as laboratories with the necessary quality and technical capacity, with accurate tests, controlled processes and meeting technical requirements to ensure clinical diagnostic information, establishing trust between society, patients, doctors and laboratory services.
According to Da Nang Hospital, managing the quality of testing according to ISO 15189:2012 standards helps ensure the provision of quick and accurate test results, providing a reliable basis for doctors to provide the most effective treatment methods for patients, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the hospital; minimizing the error rate, shortening the waiting time for results.
Ms. Chu Thi Phuong Lan, Deputy Director of the Office of Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Capacity for Quality Standards - AOSC, awarded the ISO 15189:2012 certificate to 3 testing departments.
