BTO-On the morning of July 5, Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan province - National Assembly Delegate (NAD) of Binh Thuan province had a meeting with voters in Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district after the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. Also attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and localities.
At the meeting, National Assembly Delegate Bo Thi Xuan Linh responded to recommendations from the previous session regarding voters' concerns regarding issues in the national education sector and local minerals.
Speaking at the meeting, voters of Hoa Thang commune expressed their concerns about embezzlement, corruption, and violations by high-ranking officials that have occurred and are occurring. In addition, voters recommended that all levels pay more attention to social security issues, care for the elderly who have lost their ability to work, and requested that authorities study lowering the age of receiving social pension benefits for the elderly to 70 years old. Also at the meeting, many opinions of Hoa Thang commune voters reflected on land management in the locality. At the same time, it was recommended that relevant levels consider resolving disputes over land sales without red books, compensation for land in projects, etc.
Voters also expressed their opinions that the current decisions on some policies are not reasonable and need to be considered more carefully, including the regime for victims of Agent Orange.
